Honda’s new CL500 has a rich retro feel, inspired by the original CL models of the 1960s and 1970s. Using the A2-compatible Honda CB500 series two-cylinder engine, it makes efficient use of a new steel-tube diamond frame, long-travel suspension and 19/17-inch front/rear wheel combination. It was born ready not only for the rigours of city traffic, but also for light off-road use. Eye-catching styling abounds with details like a rounded fuel tank, knee pads, rubber fork bushings and an upward-facing dual-exit exhaust silencer with a drilled heat shield. All lighting is LED, the dashboard features an LCD display and four modern colour options make the CL500 stand out from the crowd even more.
