From city commuter to weekend traveller, the 2021 CB500X is ready for anything. The 2021 model has a much sharper style – with a more adventurous look reminiscent of the Africa Twin, it features longer suspension travel, a single-tube shock absorber with high-performance specification, improved rider ergonomics and a 19-inch front wheel.
And while the CB500X engine maintains the 35 kW maximum power required for an A2 licence, it now delivers 4% more power and torque between 3000-7000 rpm thanks to improvements in intake, exhaust and valve timing. The new dual exhaust silencer has an improved exhaust note and the engine now also has a slipping clutch assist system.
New LCD gauges include a gear position and upshift indicator, and the indicators have LED bulbs to match the rest of the lighting.
* The Honda CB500X complies with the new EU A2 licence maximum power legislation of 35kW, which came into force in January 2013.
